Elinor Levin

Elinor Levin is an American politician and educator serving as a member of the Iowa House of Representatives for the 89th district since 2023. Born in Palatine, Illinois, she earned a degree in secondary education and English from Cornell College before settling in Iowa. Prior to her legislative career, she worked as a public school teacher and a private writing tutor. In the Iowa House, she serves on several committees, including Agriculture and Public Safety, and acts as the ranking member of the Natural Resources Committee. Her policy priorities include sustainable energy, environmental justice, and addressing rural flight, while she remains a vocal advocate for reproductive rights.
