Elisa Pirro

Elisa Pirro is an Italian politician and biologist serving as a member of the Senate of the Republic since 2018. A member of the Five Star Movement, she has focused her legislative work on health, social affairs, and public budget oversight, notably advocating for mental health initiatives such as the 'psychologist bonus.' Before her national parliamentary career, she served as a municipal councilor in Orbassano and as a councilor for the Metropolitan City of Turin, where she managed environmental and water resource portfolios. She holds a degree in biological sciences from the University of Turin and previously worked as a research technician specializing in clinical pharmacology.
