Elmedin Konaković

Elmedin Konaković is a Bosnian politician currently serving as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina since January 2023. A former professional basketball player and sports manager, he entered politics in the early 2000s, eventually founding the centrist People and Justice (NiP) party in 2018. Throughout his career, he has served as the Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton and as a member of both the Federal House of Peoples and the Federal House of Representatives. Konaković is a vocal advocate for institutional reform, transparency, and Bosnia and Herzegovina's integration into the European Union and Euro-Atlantic structures.
