Emily Shetty

Emily Shetty is an American politician and attorney serving as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates for District 18 since 2019. A graduate of Duke University and the Catholic University of America, she previously worked as a legislative aide and lobbyist before entering elected office. In the House, she has served on the Judiciary and Appropriations committees and currently chairs the House Democratic Caucus. Her legislative priorities include mental health care, reproductive rights, police transparency, and environmental infrastructure like the Purple Line.
