Emmanuel Duplessy

Emmanuel Duplessy is a French politician serving as a member of the National Assembly for the 2nd constituency of Loiret since 2024. A graduate of the University of Orléans with a master's degree in public territorial management, he previously worked as a territorial official for the Centre-Val de Loire regional council. Politically active since his time with the UNEF student union, he joined the Socialist Party before transitioning to the ecologist movement, eventually becoming a member of Génération.s. As a municipal councillor in Orléans since 2020, he has focused on social issues such as homelessness, student poverty, and anti-bullying initiatives. In the National Assembly, he sits with the Ecologist and Social group, advocating for policies including the development of rail freight, wage increases, and addressing medical deserts in rural areas.
