Enfermeira Rejane

Rejane de Almeida, widely known as Enfermeira Rejane, is a Brazilian politician currently serving as a Member of the Chamber of Deputies. A member of the Communist Party of Brazil (PCdoB), she previously served three terms as a state deputy in the Legislative Assembly of Rio de Janeiro (ALERJ). Throughout her career, she has been a prominent advocate for nursing professionals and women's rights, having chaired the Committee on the Defense of Women's Rights in the state legislature. She assumed her federal mandate in January 2025 as a substitute for the Federation Brasil da Esperança.
