Кошанов, Ерлан Жаканович

Yerlan Koshanov is a Kazakhstani politician currently serving as the Speaker of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan and the chairman of the Amanat party. With a long career in the civil service, he previously held roles as the head of the President's Administration, Akim of the Karaganda Region, and various positions within the Prime Minister's Office. Since assuming his parliamentary leadership role in 2022, he has overseen significant legislative reforms, including constitutional amendments and initiatives focused on asset recovery and social policy, while maintaining a close alignment with the presidential administration.
