Fabian Geyer is a German lawyer and politician who has served as the Lord Mayor of Flensburg since January 15, 2023. Born in Essen, he served as a naval officer before studying law at the University of Trier, where he earned his doctorate in 1999. Prior to his election, he worked as the managing director of the Flensburg-Schleswig-Eckernförde Employers' Association. Running as an independent candidate, he won the 2022 mayoral election in a runoff against the incumbent, Simone Lange, with the support of the CDU, FDP, and the local WiF party.
