Fadiel Adams

Fadiel Adams is a South African politician and the founder of the National Coloured Congress. After overcoming personal struggles with homelessness and addiction, he entered politics in 2018 following civil unrest in Mitchells Plain. He co-founded the Gatvol Capetonian organization and later established the Cape Coloured Congress, which was renamed the National Coloured Congress in 2023. Adams served on the Cape Town City Council before being elected to the National Assembly in 2024. His political career has been marked by controversy, including findings of hate speech by the Equality Court and ethics breaches in parliament, as well as a 2026 arrest related to an investigation into the murder of Sindiso Magaqa.
