Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud

Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud is a Saudi Arabian diplomat and politician who has served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia since 2019. Born in Frankfurt, West Germany, he spent his early life in Germany and was educated in the United States. Before his appointment as foreign minister, he served as the Saudi ambassador to Germany and held various senior positions in the aerospace and defense sectors, including as a director at Saudi Arabian Military Industries. As foreign minister, he has played a key role in regional diplomacy, including the restoration of diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran in 2023. He maintains a focus on regional stability and has consistently stated that normalization with Israel is contingent upon a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
