Farrah Chaichi

Farrah Chaichi is an American politician and activist serving as a member of the Oregon House of Representatives for the 35th district. Elected in 2022, she has established a progressive platform, notably becoming the only member of the 82nd Oregon Legislative Assembly to vote against the criminalization of fentanyl possession. Her background includes work in compliance and client intake, as well as service on the Beaverton Human Rights Advisory Commission. Chaichi, who is of Middle Eastern descent, has been an outspoken advocate for a ceasefire in the Gaza war and is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America.
