Fentrice Driskell is an American attorney and politician currently serving as the Minority Leader of the Florida House of Representatives, representing the 67th district. A member of the Democratic Party, she made history as the first Black woman to lead the House Democratic Caucus and the first member elected to consecutive leadership terms since 1992. Driskell has been a vocal advocate for police reform, Medicaid expansion, and the preservation of historic African American cemeteries. Before her political career, she practiced law as an attorney and served as a judicial clerk.
