Filippo Melchiorre

Filippo Melchiorre is an Italian politician currently serving as a member of the Senate of the Republic. Born in Bari in 1966, he holds a degree in economics and commerce and has worked as a public official and chartered accountant. His extensive political career began in local government, where he served as a long-time city councilor in Bari and as an assessor for civil and social rights. A member of the Brothers of Italy party, he was elected to the Senate in 2022, where he holds positions in the Finance and Treasury Commission and the Parliamentary Antimafia Commission.
