Francisca Toledo is a Chilean economist and politician who serves as the Minister for the Environment. She holds degrees from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, including a Master’s in Regulatory Law. Throughout her career, she has held various technical and advisory roles, including working as a ministerial adviser in the General Secretariat of the Presidency and as the Head of the Social Investment Evaluation Division at the Ministry of Social Development and Family. Before her appointment to the cabinet in 2026, she was a researcher at the think tank Libertad y Desarrollo, where she focused on natural resource issues and economic policy.
