Franck Riester is a French politician who has served as a Member of the National Assembly for Seine-et-Marne. A former member of The Republicans, he was excluded from the party in 2017 due to his support for Emmanuel Macron and subsequently became a founding member and president of the Agir party. Throughout his career, he has held several ministerial positions, including Minister of Culture and Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and Attractiveness. Before his national political career, he served as the mayor of Coulommiers from 2008 to 2017. His policy focus has largely centered on cultural affairs, digital rights, and economic development.
