
Fred Agbedi

Frederick Yeitiemone Agbedi is a Nigerian politician and educationist currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives for the Sagbama/Ekeremor Federal Constituency in Bayelsa State. A founding father of Bayelsa State, he has had a long career in regional politics, including serving as the Bayelsa State Chairman of the People's Democratic Party and as a senior special adviser to the state government. Agbedi is a veteran of the Nigerian legislative process, having first been elected to the National Assembly in 1992 during the Third Republic, and later returning to the House of Representatives in 2015. Throughout his career, he has been a prominent figure in Bayelsa politics, notably leading gubernatorial campaigns and advocating for regional development.
