Gönül Eğlence

Gönül Eğlence is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia, representing the Alliance 90/The Greens party since 2022. Born in Detmold to a family with a migration background, she has a background in social sciences and Turkish studies. Before her election to the state parliament, she worked as an education consultant and held leadership roles in non-profit educational organizations. Her political career includes serving as a deputy district mayor in Essen and holding various positions within the Green party. She is currently a spokesperson for her parliamentary group on migration and participation, focusing her political work on educational equity, human rights, and social policy.
