G. Venkatachalam is an Indian politician from Tamil Nadu and a senior leader of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK). He is a three-time member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, having first been elected in 2011 from the Salem West constituency. He successfully retained his seat in 2016 and was elected to represent the Mettur constituency in the 2026 assembly elections. Born in 1969 in Salem, he has established a long-standing political career within the AIADMK party.
