Gabriele Triebel

Gabriele Triebel is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Bavaria, representing the Alliance 90/The Greens party. Born in Kaufering, she previously worked as a sports teacher and was a competitive long-distance runner. Triebel has served in local government as a municipal councilor and deputy mayor of Kaufering. Since her election to the state parliament in 2018, she has focused on education, religion, and remembrance culture, and currently serves as the president of the European Holocaust Memorial Foundation.
