Gallop Franklin

Gallop Franklin is an American politician and clinical pharmacist serving as a member of the Florida House of Representatives for District 8 since 2022. A Tallahassee native, he holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Florida A&M University and an MBA from Cornell University. In the legislature, Franklin has focused on healthcare reform, including sponsoring legislation to expand access to HIV-PEP medications and Medicaid-reimbursed home health services. Prior to his election, he was active in student government and served as a Gubernatorial Fellow.
