Gary Friedmann

Gary Friedmann is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Maine House of Representatives for District 14, which includes Bar Harbor, Lamoine, Mount Desert, and Cranberry Isles. Before his election in 2024, he served four three-year terms on the Bar Harbor Town Council. Friedmann is a co-founder of several advocacy organizations, including the lobbying group Our Power, Maine Climate Action Now, and Maine Citizens for Clean Elections. His legislative focus includes environmental policy and campaign finance reform.
