Gary Gannon

Gary Gannon is an Irish politician serving as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin Central constituency since 2020. A member of the Social Democrats, he previously served as a Dublin City Councillor from 2014 to 2020. Gannon is known for his advocacy on education reform, housing, and social justice, including his support for reclassifying drug use as a public health issue and his efforts to secularize sex education in schools. He currently serves as the Cathaoirleach of the Joint Committee on Drugs Use.
