Gerd Mannes

Gerd Mannes is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Bavaria, representing the Alternative for Germany (AfD). Born in 1969 in Leipheim, he is a trained mechanical engineer who previously worked in the engineering sector. Since his first election to the Bavarian state parliament in 2018, he has served on various committees, including those focused on economic development, agriculture, and environmental protection. Mannes is also a member of the district council in Günzburg and is recognized for his moderate stance within the AfD, frequently advocating for a clear distinction from right-wing extremist positions.
