Gerhard Deimek

Gerhard Deimek is an Austrian politician and member of the National Council representing the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ). Born in Steyr, he holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Vienna and previously worked as a project manager in the steel and automation industries. Since entering politics, he has served as a local councilor in Pfarrkirchen bei Bad Hall and held various regional party leadership roles. Deimek is known for his focus on infrastructure, transport, and technology policy, and he notably initiated a campaign for the repatriation of Austrian gold reserves.
