Giannis Vroutsis

Giannis Vroutsis is a Greek politician and economist currently serving as the Alternate Minister for Sport in the second cabinet of Kyriakos Mitsotakis. A long-standing member of the New Democracy party, he has represented the Cyclades constituency in the Hellenic Parliament since 2007. Throughout his career, he has held significant ministerial roles, including Minister for Labour, Social Security and Welfare, and Minister for Labour and Social Affairs. Vroutsis began his political involvement in the youth wing of New Democracy and has served in various parliamentary leadership positions, including as a party parliamentary spokesman.
