Gilberto Kassab is a Brazilian politician, economist, and civil engineer serving as the Secretary of Government and Institutional Relations of São Paulo. He has held prominent executive positions throughout his career, including mayor of São Paulo from 2006 to 2012, federal deputy, minister of cities under President Dilma Rousseff, and minister of science, technology, innovations, and communications under President Michel Temer. He is also the founding president of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) and a prominent figure in Brazilian political coalitions.
