A member of the Liberal Party (PL), she assumed office as a substitute for Cabo Junio Amaral. During her tenure in the Chamber of Deputies, she participated in the Secretariat for Women and served on the committees for Public Security and Combating Organized Crime, as well as Financial Oversight and Control. Prior to her federal service, she held local office as a city councilor in Itaúna and served as the city's vice-mayor starting in 2020. She holds a degree in pedagogy from the University of Itaúna and previously worked for four decades at the local Real Estate Registry Office.
