Glenn Sterle is an Australian politician who has served as a Senator for Western Australia since 2005. Born in Melbourne in 1960, he worked as a furniture removalist and later as an owner-operator of road trains before becoming a trade union organiser for the Transport Workers Union. A member of the Australian Labor Party, he has held various roles within the party and served on numerous Senate committees, with a particular focus on transport and regional affairs. He previously served as the Shadow Assistant Minister for Road Safety.
