Graham Tope, Baron Tope, is a British politician and life peer who has served as a member of the House of Lords since 1994. A prominent member of the Liberal Democrats, he previously represented the constituency of Sutton and Cheam in the House of Commons from 1972 to 1974. Throughout his extensive career in local and regional government, he served as a councillor on the Sutton London Borough Council for four decades and was a member of the London Assembly from 2000 to 2008. He is noted for being the only person to have simultaneously served as a member of a European institution, the UK Parliament, a regional government, and a borough council.
