Gregory Markkanen

Gregory Markkanen is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing the 110th district since 2019. Before his legislative career, he worked as a high school teacher, instructing students in civics, history, and geography for Baraga Area Schools. A member of the Republican Party, Markkanen is known for his conservative political stances, including his pro-life advocacy and his vocal support for former president Donald Trump. He has consistently prioritized border security and has been a critic of the Biden administration's policies throughout his tenure in the state legislature.
