Guillermo Montenegro

Guillermo Montenegro is an Argentine politician currently serving as the Mayor of Mar del Plata, the seat of the General Pueyrredón district. A former judge and Minister of Justice and Security for the City of Buenos Aires, he has focused his mayoral administration on urban security, local employment, and public order. Montenegro is a prominent figure within the Republican Proposal (PRO) party and has been an advocate for political alliances with the La Libertad Avanza coalition to counter Kirchnerist policies in the province. He has maintained a strong emphasis on municipal management and local security initiatives throughout his tenure.
