Gulmira Karimova was a Kazakhstani stateswoman and politician who served as a Member of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan representing the North Kazakhstan Region in January 2023. Prior to her senatorial career, she worked extensively in education, serving as a primary school teacher, school administrator, and later as the chairperson of the Committee for Preschool and Secondary Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 2021 to 2023. She passed away in Astana in January 2023.
