Gunther Krichbaum

Gunther Krichbaum is a German politician and lawyer who has served as a member of the Bundestag since 2002, representing the Pforzheim constituency. In addition to his parliamentary duties, he has served as a Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office since 2025. Throughout his career, Krichbaum has been deeply involved in European affairs, notably chairing the Committee on European Affairs from 2007 to 2021. A member of the Christian Democratic Union, he is known for his extensive work in international relations and has received numerous honors, including the French Legion of Honor and the Order of Orange-Nassau.
