Guntur Soekarnoputra

Mohammad Guntur Soekarnoputra is an Indonesian figure born on November 3, 1944, as the first child of Indonesia's first president, Soekarno, and Fatmawati. He graduated from SMA Negeri 1 Bandung and earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 1962, where he was active as an activist in the Indonesian National Student Movement (GMNI). Unlike several of his siblings, including former president Megawati Soekarnoputri, Guntur chose not to pursue a career in active politics.
