髙橋 はじめ

Hajime Takahashi is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Iwate Prefectural Assembly. With a career spanning over five decades in labor union activism and local politics, he previously served as a member of the Kitakami City Council before being elected to the prefectural assembly. Takahashi has been affiliated with several political parties throughout his career, including the Democratic Party and the Constitutional Democratic Party, before joining Sanseito in 2023. His policy focus includes promoting regional economic revitalization, improving public health and longevity, and advocating for national independence and food security.
