Hannes Damm

Hannes Damm is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Born in 1991 in Erfurt, he was elected to the state parliament in 2021 as a representative of Alliance 90/The Greens. Damm has been active in climate and energy policy, serving on various parliamentary committees, including the investigative committee regarding the state's climate protection foundation. He is a doctoral student at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics and a founding member of the local chapters of Fridays For Future and Scientists For Future in Greifswald.
