Hartmut Holzwarth is a German local politician and the Lord Mayor of Winnenden. Born in 1969 in Gaildorf, he studied at the University of Applied Sciences in Kehl and the University of Hull, earning degrees in public administration and politics. Before his tenure in Winnenden, he served as the Mayor of Creglingen from 1998 to 2010. Since assuming office in Winnenden in 2010, he has been re-elected multiple times, most recently in 2026. In addition to his mayoral duties, he serves on the district council of Rems-Murr-Kreis and holds various supervisory roles in local public utilities and regional organizations.
