He Ting Ru

He Ting Ru is a Singaporean politician and lawyer who has served as a Member of Parliament for the Sengkang Group Representation Constituency since 2020. A member of the Workers' Party, she previously served as the Secretary of the party's Youth Wing and currently holds the position of Chairwoman of the Sengkang Town Council. Educated at the University of Cambridge, she worked as a solicitor at Clifford Chance and as a derivatives lawyer before entering politics. Throughout her parliamentary career, she has advocated for public health reform, gender equality, and increased judicial oversight in legislation, while also pushing for economic interventions to address urban heat and cost-of-living issues in Singapore.
