Helge André Njåstad is a Norwegian politician representing the Progress Party. He has served as a member of the Storting since 2013, where he currently chairs the Standing Committee on Justice. Prior to his national parliamentary career, Njåstad served as the mayor of Austevoll Municipality from 2003 to 2013, becoming Norway's youngest mayor at the age of 23. He is known for his focus on local government, fisheries policy, and the privatization of elderly care services, which he has advocated as a national model.
