Hernâni Dias

Hernâni Dinis Venâncio Dias is a Portuguese politician currently serving as a member of the Assembly of the Republic. Before his parliamentary career, he held the position of mayor of Bragança from 2013 to 2024, having been elected by absolute majorities. He also served as the Secretary of State for Local Administration and Spatial Planning until early 2025. Prior to his executive roles, he worked as a teacher in various schools across the Bragança district and served as the president of the local parish council of Sendas.
