Hervé Morin

Hervé Morin is a French politician who has served as the President of the Regional Council of Normandy since 2016. A prominent center-right figure, he previously served as the Minister of Defence under President Nicolas Sarkozy from 2007 to 2010. Throughout his career, he was a long-standing member of the French National Assembly representing the Eure department and founded the political party New Centre, which later became Les Centristes. Morin is known for his advocacy for the reunification of Normandy and his focus on regional decentralization.
