Hiroaki Eto is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives for the Oita 1st district. Born in Oita City in 1979, he graduated from Keio University's Faculty of Business and Commerce. Before entering politics, he worked at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for nine years. Eto served two terms in the Oita Prefectural Assembly starting in 2015. After an unsuccessful bid in the 2024 general election, he was elected to the House of Representatives in February 2026, representing the Liberal Democratic Party.
