Hirofumi Nakasone is a veteran Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Councillors, representing Gunma Prefecture. The son of former Prime Minister Yasuhiro Nakasone, he has held several high-level government positions, including Minister for Foreign Affairs, Minister of Education, and Minister of State for Science and Technology. Throughout his long parliamentary career, he has chaired various committees, including the Budget Committee and the Committee on Rules and Administration.
