Hirotake Yasuoka

Hirotake Yasuoka is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives. Born in Kagoshima, he is the son of former Minister of Justice Okihiro Yasuoka. After working in the advertising industry and completing graduate studies in shochu brewing at Kagoshima University, he served as his father's chief secretary. Yasuoka was first elected to the Diet in 2021 through the proportional representation system. Following a defeat in the 2024 general election, he returned to the Diet in 2026. His political career has included involvement in local regional development and agricultural policy, and he has previously served as an advisor to the Kagoshima Table Tennis Association.
