Ignacio Agustín Torres is an Argentine politician currently serving as the Governor of Chubut Province since December 2023. A member of the Republican Proposal (PRO) party, he previously served as a National Senator for Chubut and as a National Deputy, where he was the youngest member of the Chamber of Deputies upon his election in 2019. Throughout his career, he has held positions within the Fundación Pensar think tank and the Interior Ministry. Torres is known for his involvement in regional development and his opposition to the 2020 voluntary abortion legalization bill in Argentina.
