Imelda Castro Castro is a Mexican politician currently serving as a Senator of the Republic for the state of Sinaloa. A member of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena), she has held her seat in the Congress of the Union since 2018 and was re-elected in 2024. Throughout her career, she has served as a deputy in the Congress of Sinaloa and held various leadership roles within the Senate, including Vice President of the Board of Directors. Before entering national politics, she was a professor and a columnist.
