Ismail bin Abdul Muttalib is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Maran since 2004. A member of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), he previously held positions as the Deputy Minister of Housing and Local Government and the Deputy Minister of Human Resources during his tenure with the Barisan Nasional and Perikatan Nasional administrations. Throughout his long parliamentary career, he has been re-elected multiple times, representing the Maran constituency in the Dewan Rakyat.
