Ivan Šipić

Ivan Šipić is a Croatian politician serving as the Minister of Demography and Immigration since May 2024 and a member of the presidency of the Homeland Movement party. Born in Sinj in 1974, he graduated from the Catholic Faculty of Theology at the University of Zagreb in 1998. He previously served as the mayor of Trilj from 2008 to 2021 and as a member of the Croatian Parliament across multiple terms starting in 2015. In his current ministerial role, he has introduced demographic measures including increased financial support for newborns, extended parental and paternity leave, and funding for kindergarten construction across Croatia.
