Hina Iwasaki is a Japanese politician and businesswoman currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives, representing the Minami-Kanto proportional representation block. Born in Ichikawa, Chiba, she studied at Keio University and began her career at UBS Securities, later working as an analyst for ESG funds. After being diagnosed with Castleman disease, she became an advocate for inclusive work environments and founded the Diversity Career Promotion Association. She also served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a family-tech company. Iwasaki was elected to the Diet in the 51st general election held in February 2026, focusing her political efforts on creating a society where everyone can work effectively.
