János Hargitai

János Hargitai is a Hungarian jurist and politician who has served as a member of the National Assembly since 1998. A long-time representative for the Mohács constituency, he currently serves as a member of parliament via the Fidesz–KDNP national list following the 2026 election. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership roles, including chairman of the Committee on Immunity and deputy leader of the KDNP parliamentary group. He previously served as the mayor of Nagynyárád and President of the General Assembly of Baranya County.
